Summer Heat, Smoky Flavor, Our Roasted Red Pepper Blend is Here!

This summer brought a bumper crop to BLeaves Farms! Our garden exploded with vibrant jalapeños, serranos, poblanos, Big Jim chiles, and sweet banana peppers, all ripe, ready, and absolutely beautiful. But with temps soaring into the 100s and Gilbert’s skyrocketing water rates (three years of hikes and endless fees), we decided it was time to give our garden a much-needed summer break.

Before we tucked the garden in for a seasonal siesta, we knew we couldn’t let these gorgeous peppers go to waste. So we picked them all at once.

While we were deciding what to make, our daughter casually asked, “Are we making pepper flakes?” Lightbulb moment. Why not turn our harvest into something flavorful, long-lasting, and irresistible?

Enter Jeff the Fire Chef, the fire-roasting king himself. He got to work roasting every last pepper to smoky perfection. The aroma alone could stop you in your tracks. Then, he dehydrated and blended them into small-batch magic.
